“Fear the numbness of lost feelings!”

    Gather my pain
    And write me
    A smile
    That stays with me
    For a heart beat
    That warms me
    For a while

    Push me
    To the edge
    Of never
    Together
    With my lonely soul
    I’ll taste ever
    Forever

    Pull my shades
    I yearn for the sun
    For days with no rain
    Where the clouds
    Had not begun

    Hit me
    With your best
    Doubts
    In the Hall
    Of Silence
    A pin drop
    Shouts!

    Shatter my walls
    I am weary
    Of staring
    At gray ceilings
    I am weary
    Hordes
    Of timid bars
    Chords
    Of docile feelings

    Squeeze me
    Sour grapes
    Of missing
    Give me
    The rattle
    Of anger
    Building
    Foaming
    Hissing

    Shake me
    Call in the thunder
    Wrath of the future
    Joys
    Of senseless blunder

    Hold my hand
    And tell me
    You still
    Love me
