    Here you are
    Hiding in my book,
    You are still a marvel,
    You still have the look!

    Lines and grace
    Of unhidden face
    With curves and flair
    Softly,
    You sent me there
    Where spring was calling
    And sunshine above
    Wishful breeze was sailing
    Through mist of love

    She held you gently,
    And said:
    “Behold her
    Tuck her In your pages
A thought of me For the ages”

    Here you are
    You shine,
    She smiles
    And my world
    Overflows with light
    Two Beauties
    Competing
    For my sight

I love this poem. It reminds me of all the treasured books I have of my mother’s that have dog-eared pages, notes and a few pressed flowers. Hidden beauty, indeed!
