    I,Woman! (lite)

    “The lite version of: I,Woman!”

    I might be
    sweet
    I might be sour
    But I do magic
    With eggs and flour

    Don’t stare at
    me
    It is your fault
    You filled the shakers
    This is no Salt!

    Bad hair day will come
    Bad-hair will go
    At least I have some
    Your head just
    glow!

    You branded
    me:
    ”Boring”
    Told me to:“Shut Up
    Guess who put up
    With all
    your snoring?

    No
    No
    No,
    Don’t let go
    You like it
    faster
    I like it Slow!

    Your turn
    To
    drop Johnny
    At his new school
    That big, bright building?
    Try to act
    cool

    Pots and Pans
    And the plates sway
    You sure are cooking
    I’ll look the other way!

    I like shoes
    So?
    So what?
    It’s a
    Walk-in closet
    You have to walk about!

This poem offers so much insight. Women of substance don’t place material possessions over hugs and understanding. Wonderful poem!
