• My Poems

    Be still my heart

    Be still my heart

    Untraded roads are calling

    Echoes in hunger

    Yet

    We are lost

    At the very start

    Wading through memories

    Deep With flickering highs

    Who are we to grasp

    All the might be’s

    All those vanishing sighs

    Be still my heart

    Watch me peel the sorrow

    Of yesteryears

Remains of a day are for the moment

    Shadows of longing for tomorrow

    And come what may

    Come what fears

This poem offers so much insight. Women of substance don’t place material possessions over hugs and understanding. Wonderful poem!
